Dalyan is a small town on the south-west coast of Turkey on the Mediterranean side. The town is the epicentre of the Dalyan delta. It is set on the banks of the Dalyan River, a peaceful holiday place unspoilt by mass tourism.
Take a river bus from The harbour to the beach, and it will be the most relaxing 45 minutes journey you will ever take. Drink in the beautiful scenery, the nature and the birdlife. Dalyan is a protected National Conservation area. It is home to over 200 species of birds along with three types of turtle including the loggerhead turtle Caretta Caretta. It is a flat area, so good for walking and cycling.
